Our cold-solvent stripping method is kind to your vintage woodwork and produces minimal raising of wood grain. This method produces a more stable, ready surface which will require less sanding and preparation. It reduces the risk of failure of paint film due to saturation of wood fibers with chemicals. We have many repeat customers who are restoration contractors in the refinishing trades. They know that better stripping reduces surface prep and makes the overall project cost less, with fewer call-backs.

For pricing information, we offer a paint stripping estimates page on this website, for your convenience, estimating costs of all sorts of removeable architectural elements. All prices are conservative budget figures, based on typical conditions. The prices assume woodwork which is painted, so if your piece has only stain and varnish the price will be lower. Actual prices will vary and may also increase based on detail, condition and other factors that affect cost.

Our state of the art paint stripping facility complies with all regulations, and provides for worker safety, low environmental impact, and expert results. We employ a registered hazmat hauler and document all waste disposal. We do not use heat, caustics or flammable chemicals. Our cold-solvent stripping method does not require chemical neutralizers which may stain the work or cause paint film bonding failure.
